This post marks the end of the Repair School Chronicles. The end of brass work! I’ve begun work at Midwest Musical Imports in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’m so happy with my time so far at this shop, and I’m thrilled that I get to specialize in woodwinds, and even more specifically in double reeds. Though we repair both double and single reeds, it’s true that the majority of our work is on oboes and bassoons. Don’t have much more to say about it, only that I’m incredibly happy to have found myself in this career and this shop :).
